Kishtwar,June 09, 2022 : On the directions of Worthy DGP UT of J&K Sh. Dilbag Singh-IPS, todays Thana Diwas was held at all the Police Stations of Kishtwar District.
The “Thana Divas was conducted at PS Kishtwar, Atholi, Chatroo, Dachhan, Marwah & Warwan by the Supervisory officers who gave patient hearing to the grievances of public and assured them for timely disposal of the same on priority basis.
The meetings were attended by Sarpanches and members of civil societies, markets/shopkeeper associations and respectables of concerned areas.
During the “Thana Divas”, many issues raised by the participants were resolved on the spot. However,the issues pertaining to other departments were noted and further forwarded to the concerned departments for early redressal with a feedback reports to the persons raising the issue during the meetings.
The participants appreciated the initiative of the government to organise the “Thana Diwas” by J&K Police and hope that their genuine demands/grievances will be resolved promptly.
