Kishtwar, July 27: A two-day long Chingham Prarna Mata Mandir Yatra commenced with religious fervor from Tulsi Nagar Mata to Chingham today by Puran Chand from Tulsi Nagar Mata who is traditionally carring this from the last 23 years.
The yatra is being flagged off by Sanatan Dharam Sabha District President, Sh. Surinder Sen and Vishu Hindu Parishad District President Sh. Hans Raj Bhutyal.
The locals of various localities warmly welcomed the Chadi Mubarak and served refreshments to the pilgrims.
The yatra concluded at near TRC Kuleed Kishtwar from where the devotees boarded buses and other vehicles and left for the historic Ashtadash Bhuja Paarna temple.
People from across the region came here and perfomer Bhajan Kirtan on the auspicious occasion and prayed for peace, prosperity and well being of all.
District administration and Kishtwar Police had made all the necessary arrangements at Chingham and Kishtwar for the welfare of devotees.
