District Child Protection Unit Organizes Anti-Child Labour Day in Kishtwar
Kishtwar,12 June 2023: In accordance with the directives of the District Child Protection Officer, the District Child Protection Unit KIshtwar in collaboration with the Special Juvenile Police Unit Kishtwar today organized an impactful Anti-Child Labour Day in the slum areas of Kishtwar.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of education and discourage child labor.
During the event urged to prioritize education and ensure the enrollment of their children in schools. In line with this, an Aadhaar center operator was also present to facilitate the creation of Aadhaar cards for the children, ensuring their eligibility for school admission.
The District Child Protection Unit remains committed to protecting the rights and well-being of children and eliminating child labor in the region. By organizing events such as the Anti-Child Labour Day, they strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for children, fostering their growth, and providing them with opportunities for a bright future.
