Fresh Snowfall at Sinthan Top, Incessant Rains

Kishtwar, June 22, 2022::: The Sinthan Top during the last midnight and early morning received intermittent fresh snowfall & heavy rains. Due to the fresh snowfall and incessant rains around 10 vehicles with50 passengers got badly trapped.

Kishtwar Police Rescues 50 Passengers, Evacuates 10 Passenger Vehicles.

On receiving the news of trapping of vehicles and passengers including some females and minor children, the police immediately swung into action.
Under the directions of SSP Kishtwar Sh. Shafqat Hussain Batt-JKPS, SHO PS Chatroo Insp Sameer Ahmed managed JCBs & reached the spot alongwith police rescue teams. The police got the track cleared & after a lot of hard work has rescued all the 50 Passengers and evacuated all the 10 trapped vehicles.
